SNAKE SUMMER / The Locker Room, New York
July 10th- August 24th, 2025

The snake has long operated as a symbolic site of projection—across religions, cultures, and disciplines. It is at once feared and revered, associated with knowledge and deceit, rebirth and temptation, healing and danger. Its meaning is unstable by nature: always shifting, always shedding.

Opening in the Year of the Snake, this exhibition brings together artists exploring the serpent’s entanglement with power, pleasure, and survival through feminist, queer, and mythological frameworks. Snake Summer asks what it means to live with icons that refuse resolution—and what happens when we follow them into the heat.

The Locker Room presents a group exhibition featuring Paul Anagnostopoulos, Faustine Badrichani, Saxon Brice, Winnie Cheung, Maisie Cousins, Jeffrey Dell, Hannah Epstein, Maya Fuhr, Tyler Goldflower, Dan Lam, Theo Rosenblum, Summer Wagner, Cloe Vriet, Marguerite Wibaux

MINI MADNESS, Scope Art fair Miami
Dec 3-6 2024

The Locker Room is pleased to present our booth at the 2024 SCOPE Art Show in Miami Beach, presenting artists Kat Ryals, Katie Commodore, and Marguerite Wibaux. Collectively, the works tell a story about being a woman in 2024 and all that that means: the hot, the horror, and the holy. […] And Marguerite Wibaux presents her “minis”–a series of 80 paintings delicately made on 5 inch square wood panels. The works are presented in a grid, portraying women who are vulnerable, sexual, violent, and confused. Our booth this year invites you to doomscroll through the fragmented, chaotic beauty of contemporary life.
